ORAL AND POSTER PRESENTATION APPLICATION PREPARATION AND SUBMISSION RULES

Application and Submission

  • All abstracts must be submitted online through the official congress website.
  • Applications submitted via email or postal mail will not be accepted.
  • Presentations can be in English or Turkish.
  • Submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee and evaluated by at least two referees.

Eligibility and Registration

  • The author presenting must be registered for the conference.
  • Abstract submission deadline: March 10, 2025, at 23:59:59.

Abstract Format

  • Abstracts must not exceed 300 words and should include up to 5 keywords.
  • Abstracts must be uploaded in Word format, using 12-point Times New Roman font with single-line spacing.
  • The abstract should contain information on objectives, materials and methods, findings, and conclusion.
  • Only the first letter of the study title should be capitalized.
  • If abbreviations are used in the text, their full name must be written first, followed by the abbreviation in parentheses.
  • The institutions and addresses of the authors should not be included in the abstract.
  • At least 3 references should be listed at the bottom of the abstract.

Oral Presentation Rules

  • The total duration for accepted oral presentations will be 15 minutes (10 minutes for the presentation + 5 minutes for discussion).
  • The presentation structure should include the following sections: Title, Objectives, Introduction, Methods, Findings, Discussion, Conclusion, and References.
  • The font size must be at least 24 points for readability.
  • Excessive text on slides should be avoided; bullet points and visuals should be preferred.
  • Presenters must adhere to time limits and use appropriate scientific language.

Poster Presentation Rules

  • Posters should not exceed the dimensions of 70 cm (width) × 100 cm (height).
  • The text should be readable from a distance of 1 meter and must follow formatting rules.
  • A 2 cm margin should be left on the top, bottom, left, and right sides of the poster.
  • The title, author names, and institutional information should be placed at the top of the poster, with the presenting author's name underlined.
  • Posters should consist of three sections: Introduction and Objectives, Scope and Method, Findings and Conclusion.
  • Titles and text should be written in 24-point Arial font.
  • References should be indicated in a smaller font at the bottom of the poster.
  • The poster title should be in 48-point bold Arial font.

Notification and Approval

  • Authors will receive acceptance or rejection notifications via email.
  • Candidates are responsible for regularly checking their emails (including spam folders).
    Evaluation and Selection
  • Oral and poster presentations will be evaluated based on content clarity, originality, research methodology, and significance of findings.
  • The best oral and poster presentations will be selected.
